Leesburg High's Jordan commits to play soccer at Salem

Fruitland Park, FL- The Salem College soccer program is pleased to announce that Hannah Jordan has committed and deposited to attend Salem next fall. Jordan played soccer for Coach Israel Ramos at Leesburg High School in Florida.

The Salem soccer team is coming off an 11-5-2 season, and their third straight trip to the Great South Athletic Conference semifinals in 2011. The program currently has 3 straight 10 win seasons, and they have a 38-15-3 record over that span.

Jordan, a midfielder, played varsity soccer at Leesburg and also at The Villages High School. She was a second team Daily Commercial All-Area selection as a senior. She was selected to the Lake County All Star Game in 2012, and she led the Yellow Jackets in assists.

Jordan also played club soccer for the Lake County Soccer Club from 2007-2011. She was a member of the Beta Club, the Debate Club, and the FCA at Leesburg. She is the daughter of Wendy and Mark Jordan.

Salem College is a NCAA Division III institution located in Winston-Salem, NC. Salem is the oldest educational institution for women in the United States, and was founded in 1772. The institution boasts a proud history of fostering independence in women.
